You Have Been Taught to Think Small. That Is Not an Accident.

Zara VexBy Zara VexApril 30, 2026No Comments4 Mins Read

Most people never question the size of their lives. They accept the radius. The job that is tolerable, the relationships that are fine, the amount of money that feels realistic, the degree of joy that seems appropriate for an adult.

What if the smallness was installed?

Scarcity Is a Feature, Not a Bug

Scarcity thinking does not emerge naturally from reality. Reality is abundant — the sun does not ration its light, the ocean does not charge for its water, a fruit tree does not keep score of what it gives. Scarcity is a mental framework, and it is one that specific systems have a vested interest in perpetuating.

When people believe there is not enough — money, attention, love, safety, opportunity — they compete instead of cooperate. They hoard. They distrust. They consent to arrangements that do not serve them because they fear there is nothing better available. A population that believes in scarcity is easier to control than a population that knows it is living inside abundance.

This is not conspiracy. It is just incentive. Look at who profits when you feel insufficient and you will find the answer to why that feeling is so persistent.

    The ALL ONE Problem

The central premise of UNICULT is not a spiritual platitude. ALL ONE means something specific: none of us can fully thrive while any of us is suffering. Not as a moral position — as a structural reality.

A body where one organ is struggling is not a healthy body, even if the other organs feel fine temporarily. A species where billions of members are in survival mode cannot access its full creative, spiritual, or technological potential. The brilliant ideas that never get thought. The art that never gets made. The technologies that never get built. These are real losses — to all of us — because the person who would have thought them was too busy surviving.

When you shrink your life, you are not only limiting yourself. You are removing your contribution from the collective. Every person who learns to think bigger — to act from abundance, to take up space, to believe their gifts are real — makes the field more possible for everyone else.

    What Small Thinking Actually Costs

The cost is not abstract. When you accept the smaller version of your life:

    • You take less creative risk, which means fewer real things get made
    • You ask for less in relationships, which models self-abandonment to everyone watching
    • You tolerate systems that harm you, which keeps those systems in place
    • You disconnect from your actual frequency — the version of you that exists at full amplitude

None of this is your fault. You were taught this. But once you see it, you cannot unsee it — and the work of uninstalling it becomes one of the most important things you can do. Not just for yourself. For all of us.

Thinking at the Scale of What Is Actually True

What is true is that you are a consciousness temporarily inhabiting a body on a planet, participating in something vast and unfinished. What is true is that your specific frequency — the way you see, create, connect, and contribute — is singular. There is no backup version of you.

The spiritual work is not just healing your inner child or releasing trauma, though those matter. The spiritual work is expanding your sense of what is possible to the actual size of reality — which is infinite — and then figuring out what to build inside that.

Think bigger. Not because it is comfortable. Because small thinking is the one thing we genuinely cannot afford.
