UNICULT Pays 7.7 Million to Put a Unicorn Horn on the Statue of Liberty

In light of these dark times, one cult has stepped up to the plate to bring visible joy into our wonderful United States of America. UNICULT will shell out 7.7 million dollars to install a permanent rainbow unicorn horn on top of the Statue of Liberty. The change comes just as the world faces a global pandemic and many people are feeling hopeless and isolated in their homes.

UNICULT is a collaborative effort dedicated to the promotion of JOY. Its members have banded together to raise the money for this endeavor. While UNICULT is a world-wide movement, its headquarters are in the USA.

"We hope this is a beacon of hope for the future of our people" Unicole Unicron, otherwise known as America's Sweetheart and the founder of Unicult told Popcult.Today.

The Statue of Liberty is an iconic statue that was first installed in 1886 as a collaboration between the French and American governments. The statue has been restored many times over the years but it has never undergone such a drastic appearance change.  The statue of Liberty has a presentation tablet, bearing Frenchman Bartholdi's name, who originally came up with the idea for the statue. This tablet declares the statue is a gift from the people of the Republic of France that honors "the Alliance of the two Nations in achieving the Independence of the United States of America and attests their abiding friendship."

The unicorn horn will be designed and installed by professional architects and artists, all of whom are undocumented immigrants. Each worker will be paid the fair wage of $333 an hour for their service and dedication. The horn will be made of regenerative holographic materials that will change color in the sun, casting out a spectacular rainbow light.

President Trump publicly tweeted about the statue, taking credit for it.

While some citizens are skeptical that money is real at all, others are happy that UNICULT is stepping up to the plate and redistributing their wealth to those who need it most.

"Whether you are or aren't paying your rent today, we can all agree that money is a mutually agreed upon construct. Even though money is fake, we can't deny that in times like this, it can really make a difference. We are hoping our contribution of 7.7 million dollars will go into the hands of the people who love this country the most, while at the same time bringing a new wave of light to this planet." Unicole Unicron said.

Once shelter in place orders are over, you can expect hoards of people traveling to New York City to look at this new addition to our great country's image.
